Firjan IEL LidEra Leadership Program
In a scenario where understanding the future and the necessary skills of a futurist leader have never been so demanding, Firjan IEL promotes an Executive Leader Education program. This program was developed with customized actions through strategic national and international partnerships generating knowledge of excellence focused on the improvement of the high management of the companies of Rio de Janeiro, in order to effectively contribute to their better positioning in the Marketplace.
In June, the international program will be held in Portugal, in partnership with UPTEC - Porto University, with the theme "Executive Innovation - an immersive approach to leaders".
In September, the national program will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with an immersion format addressing the themes: "Connection with Values ??and Purpose", "Versatile and Evolutionary Leadership" and "Leadership and Management in AI times".
The goal is to foster the development of entrepreneurs and managers interested in connecting practical and innovative experiences in times of multicultural teams, co-design, mathematical thinking, new Ps (plurality vision, people, purpose and prototyping) and times of empathy and cognitive flexibility. The idea is to understand the needed profile for this new era and to experience strategies needed to prepare leaders for the future.
+ INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM (UPTEC – Porto University)
Firjan IEL's partnership with UPTEC – Porto University in Portugal was designed to offer relevant content providing managers with a global and contemporary vision.
Faced with a new era, the strategy is to allow medium and large companies leaders to debate and reflect on the importance of innovation ecosystem, the challenge to take critical actions to implement a transformative management in their companies. In addition to offer access to new concepts and best practices in the digital innovation and leadership area, this program aims to stimulate strong interaction with national and international business ecosystem.
Open to the public: For regimental and / or associated companies.
Period: June 3rd to 7th, 2019
Time Schedule: from 9am to 6pm.

The national program focus on "Culture and the Journey of Transformation: the elixir for leadership". The immersion will be composed of the following themes: “Leadership and Management in times of AI”, “Connection with Values and Purpose” and “Versatile and Evolutionary Leadership”.

A strategic vision of digital technologies for leaders to leverage how to adapt their business model in this era, managing to extract its full potential for exponential growth.

Objective:
Lead leaders to a conscious analysis of their lives, their self-perception as human beings and professionals and the impact on business development. The closer a company's purpose aligns to their own beliefs, the better, therefore, it focus on strengthening their personal values and purpose with of their company’s. Suggests that any action needs to integrate with their own values and personal purpose.

- The golden circle: What is purpose? What purpose does the company believe?
- Showing how a company purpose makes a 'starting point' for everything an organization should or should not do.
- The leaders role in this journey.
- How to provoke teams to find and achieve their purpose?
- Empathy for your employees purpose.

Working Hours: 14 hours
Objective: Offer managers different tools to achieve a leadership evolution, generating a movement for change in mindset, behavior and logic of action, motivating a consistent process of change in each leader.

- What is versatility? What is the impact of it? The right balance between strategic and operational leadership, dominant and empowering.
- Self-assessment: Turning your work and that of your team into something meaningful.
- Case: Leaders in Difficult Times, the Adult Developmental Stages, Overcoming Your Immunity to Change (Group Dynamics)
The growing mindset and advancing in overcoming resistance to change:
- Deepening understanding about the stages of leadership (operative, affective and cognitive behaviors), the boundaries of each stage, the process of individuation and interdependence, growth mindset and the reasons for doing so.
- Individual exercises: Biography of my resistance to change; Behavioral Progress Map and My Plan to Advance My Leadership Stage
The course program focus on researches and approaches of Neuroscience, Behavioral Economics and Developmental Constructivist Theory, involving group meetings, where avant-garde contents will be presented, as well as realized self-assessments and dynamics. At the end of the day, there will be an hour-long individual coaching session to promote the detachment of the leader from established patterns of thought to generate effective change.
